
Many congratters to Martha, Sheila and Paul--friends and compatriots, all--on the release of the
Soup & Bread cookbook. I attended the snowy
release party last Wednesday and it was sheer pleasure to surf each well-designed, thoughtfully edited, and beautifully illustrated page. I'm very happy to have some connection with the book--including a family recipe occupying the last spot. The book's for sale at various spots in Chicago and online (see S&B website for

details).
